Grown-up things to do...

I like to promote events that are kid-friendly, but sometimes you need outings that are adults-only. Today I'm offering up a mix. The two items at the bottom of the page are for the grown folks. The ones in the rail are all ages. As always, if you have events you'd like to see here, drop me a line.

•WALK: Get a little history Saturday during a free walking tour of Kansas City bridges. The Urban Culture Project guided walk starts at 9:30 a.m. at Berkley Riverfront Park. Details, 816-221-5115 or www.urban cultureproject.org.

•GREEN LIVING: Get a look at 52 area water gardens at the 15th annual Water Garden Society of Greater Kansas City tour 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
