July 15, 2008 - SEGA of America, Inc. andSEGA Europe Ltd. today revealed more information on InfiniteSpace, the new role-playing game exclusively for the Nintendo DSportable handheld system. In Infinite Space, players will assemblea spaceship armada and embark on a cosmic adventure that will allow themto delve deep into the vast outer reaches of space, exploring a universefilled with planets and interstellar organizations each with their ownculture.

Produced by Atsushi Inaba and directed by Hifumi Kouno (of Nude Maker),the powerhouse team is developing a highly detailed game and universethat fits perfectly onto the Nintendo DS. Infinite Space follows thestory of Yuri, a young crewman that journeys the galactic frontier andslowly moves up the ranks to become captain of his own spaceship fleet.Using over 150 blueprints, players will build and customize a huge arrayof space ships and have over 200 crewmen to recruit. Players will battletheir way through space to become the strongest fleet in the galaxywhile exploring new planets and solar systems.

Infinite Space delivers excellent replay value with an epic storylinecontaining multiple branching story arcs that weave together seamlesslyto create one epic tale set amongst the stars. The gameplay depth andreplayability of Infinite Space make it stand out from any DS titlecurrently in the market. The game also features multiplayer combatthrough local wireless connection for up to two players.
