Spooks will come alive for Sheffield Fright Night...

Submitted by admin on Fri, 2005-10-21 11:22.

The spookiest and most ghostly side of a South Yorkshire city will be brought to life for a chilling experience next Sunday.

Trips to Sheffield city centre may never be the same again after visitors hear the gruesome tales behind its most haunted locations.

The free, 20-minute tours will show people the oldest, spookiest and most ghostly side of the city centre.

Fright Night - Britain's biggest Halloween party - returns to the Sheffield city centre on between 3.30pm and 8.30pm on October 30.

The fiendish fun will take place at locations across the city centre - with a funfair, live music, a wider programme of macabre street theatre, fancy dress catwalk, market stalls, creepy crawlies in the Winter Garden, and even a charity fire walk!

Last year's bash attracted more than 26,000 revellers, many more than before kitted out in spooky fancy dress.
